Narrative:

Dispatcher and operations personnel were consulted about the fuel load departing atl. There were numerous thunderstorms in the area. Agreement was made that an increased fuel load would be put on the aircraft and that the change would have no effect on the cargo, baggage or passenger that were anticipated. On taxi-out, weight and balance data was received and verified within limits for takeoff. After takeoff we received an operations message that indicated or takeoff weight was in fact not within limits (later determined to be based on landing limit weight). En route, a lower altitude was flown and additional fuel was burned.

AFTER TKOF WE RECEIVED AN OPS MESSAGE THAT INDICATED OR TKOF WT WAS IN FACT NOT WITHIN LIMITS (LATER DETERMINED TO BE BASED ON LNDG LIMIT WT).
