Narrative:
While flying on J100 and passing over sny I failed to set the correct course outbnd (071 degrees). Instead I set the outbnd course of obh, the next VOR ahead which was 067 degrees. The captain noticed my course wrong and informed me but by this time I was about 50 mi east of sny and 15 mi north of course. In the future, I should be more careful in xchking my courses with my charts.
