Narrative:
During descent; the primary and secondary inverter annunciators illuminated constituting a total loss of aircraft electrical power. At this point we [notified ATC] as we were IFR with no quick option of escaping the instrument conditions [and] requested vectors to the nearest suitable airport. Approach assisted with great efficiency [and] we were vectored onto the ILS. During this time; the first officer was completing all necessary checklists while I handled the radios and aircraft. Once cleared for the ILS on a gentle vector to the course we flew a normal approach to landing getting visual identification of the runway at 1200 ft AGL.
