Narrative:

After entering class ii airspace after radar service terminated we had a dual FMC failure. I immediately went back to the last VHF frequency we were working and the controller still had us on radar. We entered a holding pattern and completed the qrc. We did not pull and reset the circuit breaker as was optional in the checklist. Right FMC recovered after about 5 minutes. The left FMC did not recover. We coordinated with [dispatch; maintenance; and operation] and passenger advocacy. We all agreed the best course of action was to continue to destination.
