Narrative:
I was performing first officer duties en route from atl to vld (PNF). I read back a clearance by ZJX on frequency 134.45 to descend and maintain FL200. After being level at FL200 for 1-2 mins, the controller said, 'cbg, I think you accepted your company's (flight cdg) clearance to FL200.' she then requested our altitude, which I read back as FL200. I confirmed with her that we did read back a clearance to FL200 with the call sign cbbg. She also had the other company flight read back his altitude. At the time it appeared that the controller was working 2 frequencys (I believe the other frequency was 132.3). A few mins later the controller gave us a descent to a lower altitude. There appeared to be no conflict of traffic. Both the captain and I were certain that we had heard the controller issue the clearance to FL200 for cbg, thus we were completely surprised when the controller informed us of the mistaken clearance.

Title: ACR FLT CREW RESPONDED TO CLRNC TO DESCEND. WHEN LEVEL ASKED BY CENTER CTLR TO SAY ALT. INFORMED THEY HAD ACCEPTED ANOTHER FLT'S CLRNC. SAME COMPANY, SIMILAR A/N.
Narrative: I WAS PERFORMING F/O DUTIES ENRTE FROM ATL TO VLD (PNF). I READ BACK A CLRNC BY ZJX ON FREQ 134.45 TO DSND AND MAINTAIN FL200. AFTER BEING LEVEL AT FL200 FOR 1-2 MINS, THE CTLR SAID, 'CBG, I THINK YOU ACCEPTED YOUR COMPANY'S (FLT CDG) CLRNC TO FL200.' SHE THEN REQUESTED OUR ALT, WHICH I READ BACK AS FL200. I CONFIRMED WITH HER THAT WE DID READ BACK A CLRNC TO FL200 WITH THE CALL SIGN CBBG. SHE ALSO HAD THE OTHER COMPANY FLT READ BACK HIS ALT. AT THE TIME IT APPEARED THAT THE CTLR WAS WORKING 2 FREQS (I BELIEVE THE OTHER FREQ WAS 132.3). A FEW MINS LATER THE CTLR GAVE US A DSNT TO A LOWER ALT. THERE APPEARED TO BE NO CONFLICT OF TFC. BOTH THE CAPT AND I WERE CERTAIN THAT WE HAD HEARD THE CTLR ISSUE THE CLRNC TO FL200 FOR CBG, THUS WE WERE COMPLETELY SURPRISED WHEN THE CTLR INFORMED US OF THE MISTAKEN CLRNC.
