Narrative:
While flying from alamosa to boulder, co, I inadvertently entered restr area R-2601. This restr area extends from the surface to 35000' MSL. The reception of navigation signals from the colorado springs VORTAC or numerous ndbs is difficult until passing over the mountains southwest of colorado springs. This is what caused me to enter a few mi into the restr area, which I immediately left upon receiving clear navigation signals.
