Narrative:
We noticed a loud noise at rotation. We notified ATC, briefed the passengers after evaluating the problem, did low fly by to confirm landing gear confign and returned for a landing with unsafe nose gear procedures. The landing was normal but when trying to taxi, the airplane pulled very hard to the right. We shut down on the runway, and removed passengers. Maintenance removed tire tread from around the nose gear axle and taxied the plane to the gate. The center rib of tire tread had peeled off and bent the spade door on the nose gear.
