Narrative:
Air carrier X departing bwi, runway 28. Tower directed right turn on takeoff to a heading 110. Then directed to contact departure. Departure requested our heading. Passing 3500' MSL departure directed an immediate right turn to avoid light aircraft in close proximity. Never saw aircraft, took evasive action. Departure stated that the light aircraft's point of origin was also bwi.

Narrative: ACR X DEPARTING BWI, RWY 28. TWR DIRECTED R TURN ON TKOF TO A HDG 110. THEN DIRECTED TO CONTACT DEP. DEP REQUESTED OUR HDG. PASSING 3500' MSL DEP DIRECTED AN IMMEDIATE R TURN TO AVOID LIGHT ACFT IN CLOSE PROX. NEVER SAW ACFT, TOOK EVASIVE ACTION. DEP STATED THAT THE LIGHT ACFT'S POINT OF ORIGIN WAS ALSO BWI.
