Narrative:
Launched balloon. Flew 30 mins and landed in large clear area behind baptist church. Picked up passenger. Flew additional 20 mins. No wind landing in large field in housing area. Crew member took hold of handle to keep balloon from bouncing back up. However, it did bounce back up with her holding on. She turned loose at 3 or 4' off the ground and sprained her ankle and cracked her heel. We took her to the emergency room, the splinted her ankle and sent her home.

Title: BALLOON BOUNCED ON LNDG. CREW MEMBER WAS HANGING ON. INJURED WHEN RELEASED HOLD.
Narrative: LAUNCHED BALLOON. FLEW 30 MINS AND LANDED IN LARGE CLR AREA BEHIND BAPTIST CHURCH. PICKED UP PAX. FLEW ADDITIONAL 20 MINS. NO WIND LNDG IN LARGE FIELD IN HOUSING AREA. CREW MEMBER TOOK HOLD OF HANDLE TO KEEP BALLOON FROM BOUNCING BACK UP. HOWEVER, IT DID BOUNCE BACK UP WITH HER HOLDING ON. SHE TURNED LOOSE AT 3 OR 4' OFF THE GND AND SPRAINED HER ANKLE AND CRACKED HER HEEL. WE TOOK HER TO THE EMER ROOM, THE SPLINTED HER ANKLE AND SENT HER HOME.
