Narrative:

As captain of flight mke to pit on this date our clearance was: mke J34 alphe to sun sum 120 aco 323 aco V337 cutter pit. Flight was normal until alphe intersection I saw my first officer had dialed in crl 300 degree right which I then proceeded to fly instead of J70 sum 276 degree right. I did not double-check my routing on my clearance. ZOB called me asking how I was filed telling me I was 20 mi off J70. I told him after checking I had made a mistake and flown the wrong course. He gave me a heading of 90 degrees to intercept the 120 degree right of sum, never saying or sounding as if it was a problem. My fault I usually double-check, I made a mistake. We had just flown cle-mke, it's routing is J34 alphe (crl 300 degree right to alphe).
