Narrative:
The MEL info for 28-6 doesn't include a fuel stick chart. It says to refer to appendix 28-6. One must get ones efb and go to 'flying; manuals; MEL/cdl; and use the search function for 28-6. The 17th item in the search is the correct table. But be careful not to use the wrong one! Since the aircraft type is at the bottom in small font. You could easily use the [different variant] chart by mistake; while supervising the fueling process on a cold; dark; rainy ramp with efb in hand. This process introduces a whole slew of possible human errors.
