Narrative:
The departure procedure for hpn on runway 16 is to fly the runway heading to 800' then turn left to 320 degree and maintain 3000', not to exceed 190 KTS until 3000'. After departure on runway 16 aircraft cpr mdt of which I was copilot continued on runway heading at 190 KTS for about 1 min before turning course, ie, left to 320 degree. We should have turned to 320 degree at 800'. At about 1 min and realizing we had to turn to 320 degree, the departure controller called us to start our turn. We didn't fly the correct departure procedure. The problem arose by the captain hearing the incorrect departure procedure. While #3 for departure, I had to go the bathroom. I left the cockpit for 2 min and returned, we then were instructed to taxi into position and hold. It was at this point the captain told me the procedure to fly was runway heading to 3000', 190 KTS, expect radar vector. I did not look at or read the SID for hpn on this day. I took the capts word for it. It should be noted that this captain is also our director of travel and a vp. His flying duties have greatly been reduced over the yrs, he flies very little. Each time I fly with him it's a struggle to keep him 'up to speed'. He easily gets behind the aircraft.

Title: CPR MDT DOES NOT CONFORM TO SID REQUIREMENTS.
Narrative: THE DEP PROC FOR HPN ON RWY 16 IS TO FLY THE RWY HDG TO 800' THEN TURN L TO 320 DEG AND MAINTAIN 3000', NOT TO EXCEED 190 KTS UNTIL 3000'. AFTER DEP ON RWY 16 ACFT CPR MDT OF WHICH I WAS COPLT CONTINUED ON RWY HDG AT 190 KTS FOR ABOUT 1 MIN BEFORE TURNING COURSE, IE, L TO 320 DEG. WE SHOULD HAVE TURNED TO 320 DEG AT 800'. AT ABOUT 1 MIN AND REALIZING WE HAD TO TURN TO 320 DEG, THE DEP CTLR CALLED US TO START OUR TURN. WE DIDN'T FLY THE CORRECT DEP PROC. THE PROB AROSE BY THE CAPT HEARING THE INCORRECT DEP PROC. WHILE #3 FOR DEP, I HAD TO GO THE BATHROOM. I LEFT THE COCKPIT FOR 2 MIN AND RETURNED, WE THEN WERE INSTRUCTED TO TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD.
