Narrative:
Taxi instructions from ground at spot 8 were to taxi on alpha hold short of bravo 1 for a runway 28L take off. While waiting at B1 we turned off taxi light and set the parking brake. Ground cleared us to resume taxi on alpha to hold short of echo. I turned on the taxi light; released brakes and began to increase power. At that time the co-pilot noticed a fuel truck trying to cross in front of us. I applied the brakes firmly but we were only moving at less than 5 knots ground speed and easily stopped in front of the fuel truck although he appeared to pass just in front of us; 10-15 ft perhaps. We reported this to sfo ground control as the truck drove away. No other incidents on the ground but after takeoff; flight attendant (flight attendant) reported to us she had a minor injury to her wrist and hand. She did not need medical attention and was able to continue her duties on the flight. No one else in the cabin reported any injuries or issues.
