Narrative:

I turned to follow a light transport straight-in runway 4 at bhb from 5 mi out. Bhb was an unfamiliar airport to me and my copilot. The jet announced his intentions of proceeding straight-in. I announced I had him in sight and was going to follow. After he landed there was silence, he rolled out to the end of runway 4 (5100'). I did not realize he was going to turn around at the end of runway to taxi on runway to get to ramp. I touched down at the point he started to make a turn at the end, thinking he was turning off runway. I came to taxi speed on runway within the first 3500' of runway with the jet taxiing on the same runway toward me at the other end. I had decided that it was too late to do a go around upon T/D. Coming to a full stop at that point was the safest action. The jet and I did not come within 1000' of each other on the runway. I turned off the runway prior to the jet. I should have realized that there were no turnoffs on this airport for the jet to take and that he would have needed to turn around on the runway to taxi back. The jet also should have noticed that he was going to need to turn around at the end and also noticed that I was following him inbound. Perhaps a radio call of his needs was required. I knew the runway was the longest at 5100' prior to landing but I did not know that there wasn't a taxiway turnoff at the end. I was using commercial charts. I feel there were 3 at fault. Me, mostly because I didn't recognize no taxiway at end. Secondly, the jet pilot for not announcing his intentions. Thirdly, the airport for not having a taxiway turnoff at the end of the 5100' long runway.

Title: GA SMT LANDED ON AN OCCUPID RWY AT BHB.

Narrative: I TURNED TO FOLLOW A LTT STRAIGHT-IN RWY 4 AT BHB FROM 5 MI OUT. BHB WAS AN UNFAMILIAR ARPT TO ME AND MY COPLT. THE JET ANNOUNCED HIS INTENTIONS OF PROCEEDING STRAIGHT-IN. I ANNOUNCED I HAD HIM IN SIGHT AND WAS GOING TO FOLLOW. AFTER HE LANDED THERE WAS SILENCE, HE ROLLED OUT TO THE END OF RWY 4 (5100'). I DID NOT REALIZE HE WAS GOING TO TURN AROUND AT THE END OF RWY TO TAXI ON RWY TO GET TO RAMP. I TOUCHED DOWN AT THE POINT HE STARTED TO MAKE A TURN AT THE END, THINKING HE WAS TURNING OFF RWY. I CAME TO TAXI SPD ON RWY WITHIN THE FIRST 3500' OF RWY WITH THE JET TAXIING ON THE SAME RWY TOWARD ME AT THE OTHER END. I HAD DECIDED THAT IT WAS TOO LATE TO DO A GO AROUND UPON T/D. COMING TO A FULL STOP AT THAT POINT WAS THE SAFEST ACTION. THE JET AND I DID NOT COME WITHIN 1000' OF EACH OTHER ON THE RWY. I TURNED OFF THE RWY PRIOR TO THE JET. I SHOULD HAVE REALIZED THAT THERE WERE NO TURNOFFS ON THIS ARPT FOR THE JET TO TAKE AND THAT HE WOULD HAVE NEEDED TO TURN AROUND ON THE RWY TO TAXI BACK. THE JET ALSO SHOULD HAVE NOTICED THAT HE WAS GOING TO NEED TO TURN AROUND AT THE END AND ALSO NOTICED THAT I WAS FOLLOWING HIM INBND. PERHAPS A RADIO CALL OF HIS NEEDS WAS REQUIRED. I KNEW THE RWY WAS THE LONGEST AT 5100' PRIOR TO LNDG BUT I DID NOT KNOW THAT THERE WASN'T A TXWY TURNOFF AT THE END. I WAS USING COMMERCIAL CHARTS. I FEEL THERE WERE 3 AT FAULT. ME, MOSTLY BECAUSE I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE NO TXWY AT END. SECONDLY, THE JET PLT FOR NOT ANNOUNCING HIS INTENTIONS. THIRDLY, THE ARPT FOR NOT HAVING A TXWY TURNOFF AT THE END OF THE 5100' LONG RWY.
