Narrative:
3-4 NM off departure end runway 29 at cae, passed within 1000' of an MTR Y also just departed runway 29 cae. Both aircraft were at 1800' MSL with the MTR Y VFR working cae departure control, while we had just been handed off from cae tower to departure control frequency 124.9. No attempt was made by departure to call out traffic. Attitude of ATC control when informed of situation was of disinterest. Departure stated that no computer traffic alert warning had occurred.
