Narrative:

I have become aware of a noncompliance with fars for how we log pilot in command (PIC) and second in command (sic) flight time at my company. During my employment; the logging of flight time has routinely not been separated out by PIC and sic duties. [Instead it has been] merely entered into the logbook as PIC time for both pilots. It was pointed out to me that this is in violation of fars. I have taken steps to ensure that this will not occur going forward; and I have communicated this forward to my leadership to ensure that the behavior is corrected as soon as possible. This report is therefore to disclose a chronic oversight lasting several years.
