Anomaly | Ground Excursion Runway Inflight Event / Encounter Loss Of Aircraft Control |
Narrative:
During a routine training flight; while practicing wheel landings; the student failed to maintain longitudinal control during touchdown. This act caused the airplane to yaw to the left towards the edge of the runway. The student attempted to correct; while doing so; overcorrected. At this moment the instructor took positive control of the aircraft and by this point the plane was now veering to the right edge of the runway where it exited and came to a complete stop. There was no damage to the plane; or airport facility; and no injuries.
