Narrative:
While in my flare to landing I was subjected to jet blast from an widebody transport. The widebody transport was in line for runway 12L on runway 6. The tail of the aircraft was probably just beyond the 'hold short' distance for runway 12R/30L on 24. As I passed behind the widebody transport he must have been pwring up causing my aircraft to roll right and balloon. I arrested the roll and ballooning and put the aircraft on the runway. Although this event ended west/O incident I feel strongly that aircraft, especially heavy jets, should be restr from pwring up as landing aircraft are passing behind. At least ground controllers could monitor as safe distance between landing zones and heavy jet blasts.

Title: COMMUTER TURBOPROP LNDG RWY 12R AT STL ENCOUNTERS JET BLAST FROM WDB THAT HAD JUST TAXIED ACROSS THE RWY.
Narrative: WHILE IN MY FLARE TO LNDG I WAS SUBJECTED TO JET BLAST FROM AN WDB. THE WDB WAS IN LINE FOR RWY 12L ON RWY 6. THE TAIL OF THE ACFT WAS PROBABLY JUST BEYOND THE 'HOLD SHORT' DISTANCE FOR RWY 12R/30L ON 24. AS I PASSED BEHIND THE WDB HE MUST HAVE BEEN PWRING UP CAUSING MY ACFT TO ROLL R AND BALLOON. I ARRESTED THE ROLL AND BALLOONING AND PUT THE ACFT ON THE RWY. ALTHOUGH THIS EVENT ENDED W/O INCIDENT I FEEL STRONGLY THAT ACFT, ESPECIALLY HVY JETS, SHOULD BE RESTR FROM PWRING UP AS LNDG ACFT ARE PASSING BEHIND. AT LEAST GND CTLRS COULD MONITOR AS SAFE DISTANCE BTWN LNDG ZONES AND HVY JET BLASTS.
