Narrative:
During cruise; red ECAM 'smoke lav smoke'; and call from fas (flight attendants) that they could smell electrical smell in forward galley. Actions taken in accordance with (in accordance with) ECAM and QRH; and diversion to nearest airport. Emergency landing checklist accomplished; PA; notification to dispatch. During approach; numerous other system failures occurred; including autopilot disconnect and lockout; 'side stick priority left' aural warning; and APU bleed fault. Landed safely; stopped on runway for arff (aircraft rescue and firefighting) hotspot inspection and taxied to remote stand for passenger (passengers) deplaning via stairs.an unknown [cause] at this time; overheat or fire in the forward section of the aircraft.
