Narrative:
Pilot experienced vertical oscillation after initial touchdown on landing. On the third touchdown; the touchdown force on the nose gear overstressed the nose gear. The nose gear strut collapsed; and a prop strike occurred; with the engine at idle speed. Some damage to the front cowling occurred. No wing damage or other noted damage.
