Narrative:
We were cleared for the fairgrounds visibility approach from a beam moffett NAS. It was the capts leg. He turned base inside the specified course or route. This left us high on final. In order to lose additional altitude the captain flew through final, and possibly entered reid hillview air traffic area. Informed sjc tower of his intentions. Completed the approach and landed. Comments: it was capts leg, and I informed him he was too high, he did not adjust for the situation properly. First of all, a visibility approach fairgnds is not very precise and should not be accepted nor assigned.
