Narrative:
Widebody transport departed gate at 152600#. Had to use runway 18 for takeoff due to weight. As the copilot applied left rudder--no effect. The copilot tried nose wheel steering--no effect. I began to get on the controllers when the nose of the aircraft came straight up in the air. I pulled the thrust levers to idle and the nose gently lowered to the ground. (The nose came up high enough to scrape the drain mast on the underside of fuselage.) we returned to gate. Found this aircraft had been loaded out of aft cg limits.
