Narrative:
Several unsuccessful start events as per abnormal aircraft manual. Final start was successful. Ground personnel reported fire on #2 engine. Engine successfully shut down. Continued clearing of engine prior to shut down. Fire persisted and verified by second ground observer. Fire bottles both discharged and cabin evacuation initiated. Evacuation was successful. Remainder of emergency evacuation/engine fire shutdown checklists were accomplished. Supplemental information from acn 155341. After unsuccessful start attempts with 'B' ignition. A start was accomplished per checklist using 'a' ignition. Evacuation checklist also accomplish until ground personnel said they had the fire out.

Title: ACR WDB ENGINE FIRE DURING ENGINE START.
Narrative: SEVERAL UNSUCCESSFUL START EVENTS AS PER ABNORMAL ACFT MANUAL. FINAL START WAS SUCCESSFUL. GND PERSONNEL RPTED FIRE ON #2 ENG. ENG SUCCESSFULLY SHUT DOWN. CONTINUED CLRING OF ENG PRIOR TO SHUT DOWN. FIRE PERSISTED AND VERIFIED BY SEC GND OBSERVER. FIRE BOTTLES BOTH DISCHARGED AND CABIN EVACUATION INITIATED. EVACUATION WAS SUCCESSFUL.
