Narrative:
This aircraft tankered fuel in mazatlan to fuel through puerto vallarta due to fueling problems. The previous dispatcher had brought up a flight plan at maximum gross landing weight to accommodate the tanker fuel. Mazatlan operations asked for additional takeoff weight to accommodate 50000 pounds of fuel, so I mistakenly allowed the additional weight via an amended dispatch release. The flight ended up landing in puerto vallarta some 1000 pounds over maximum gross landing weight of 160000#. The crew did not realize they were overgrossed until after landing. They then notified flight operations and I was counseled by my supervisors, as was the captain upon arrival in sea. No evasive action was required. An overweight landing inspection was made in puerto vallarta, and the flight continued. I believe that the error was an oversight on my part and that this was the first time that I've overgrossed an aircraft. I will be more careful in the future.

Title: ACR LGT MADE A TKOF LNDG IN EXCESS OF ACFT LNDG GROSS WEIGHT LIMITS.
Narrative: THIS ACFT TANKERED FUEL IN MAZATLAN TO FUEL THROUGH PUERTO VALLARTA DUE TO FUELING PROBS. THE PREVIOUS DISPATCHER HAD BROUGHT UP A FLT PLAN AT MAX GROSS LNDG WT TO ACCOMMODATE THE TANKER FUEL. MAZATLAN OPS ASKED FOR ADDITIONAL TKOF WT TO ACCOMMODATE 50000 LBS OF FUEL, SO I MISTAKENLY ALLOWED THE ADDITIONAL WT VIA AN AMENDED DISPATCH RELEASE. THE FLT ENDED UP LNDG IN PUERTO VALLARTA SOME 1000 LBS OVER MAX GROSS LNDG WT OF 160000#. THE CREW DID NOT REALIZE THEY WERE OVERGROSSED UNTIL AFTER LNDG. THEY THEN NOTIFIED FLT OPS AND I WAS COUNSELED BY MY SUPVRS, AS WAS THE CAPT UPON ARR IN SEA. NO EVASIVE ACTION WAS REQUIRED. AN OVERWT LNDG INSPECTION WAS MADE IN PUERTO VALLARTA, AND THE FLT CONTINUED. I BELIEVE THAT THE ERROR WAS AN OVERSIGHT ON MY PART AND THAT THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT I'VE OVERGROSSED AN ACFT. I WILL BE MORE CAREFUL IN THE FUTURE.
