Narrative:
Maintenance altered the entry of another (ord) maintenance action described in our aircraft maintenance log book. The intent was good to accurately tell which INS was determined inoperative 2 days ago, but I think making a separate log entry referring to explain the old log entry would be a better way than simply adding new information to the old page.

Title: LOG BOOK ALTERATION AFTER THE FACT.
Narrative: MAINT ALTERED THE ENTRY OF ANOTHER (ORD) MAINT ACTION DESCRIBED IN OUR ACFT MAINT LOG BOOK. THE INTENT WAS GOOD TO ACCURATELY TELL WHICH INS WAS DETERMINED INOP 2 DAYS AGO, BUT I THINK MAKING A SEPARATE LOG ENTRY REFERRING TO EXPLAIN THE OLD LOG ENTRY WOULD BE A BETTER WAY THAN SIMPLY ADDING NEW INFO TO THE OLD PAGE.
