Narrative:
In an large transport 2 engine aircraft we flew a civit 2 profile descent to lax followed by an ILS to 25L. The WX was good and the descent and approach were normal. The T/D was extremely smooth, but occurred at 4' radio altitude rather than the usual 0' indication. That was followed by a normal automatic-spoiler deployment and manual braking. Following arrival at the gate a F/a notified the captain she had heard a scraping sound on landing. A post-flight inspection revealed the tail had contacted the runway. My impression of the damage was that it was limited to an antenna and water drain, which were scraped but not knocked off, and a scrape mark, several ft in length along the centerline of the aircraft.

Narrative: IN AN LGT 2 ENG ACFT WE FLEW A CIVIT 2 PROFILE DSNT TO LAX FOLLOWED BY AN ILS TO 25L. THE WX WAS GOOD AND THE DSNT AND APCH WERE NORMAL. THE T/D WAS EXTREMELY SMOOTH, BUT OCCURRED AT 4' RADIO ALT RATHER THAN THE USUAL 0' INDICATION. THAT WAS FOLLOWED BY A NORMAL AUTO-SPOILER DEPLOYMENT AND MANUAL BRAKING. FOLLOWING ARR AT THE GATE A F/A NOTIFIED THE CAPT SHE HAD HEARD A SCRAPING SOUND ON LNDG. A POST-FLT INSPECTION REVEALED THE TAIL HAD CONTACTED THE RWY. MY IMPRESSION OF THE DAMAGE WAS THAT IT WAS LIMITED TO AN ANTENNA AND WATER DRAIN, WHICH WERE SCRAPED BUT NOT KNOCKED OFF, AND A SCRAPE MARK, SEVERAL FT IN LENGTH ALONG THE CENTERLINE OF THE ACFT.
