Narrative:
Just after takeoff we apparently hit sea gulls. At 200' AGL, #1 engine egt went up 30 degrees, fuel flow fluctuated, engine vibration increased, burning smell inside cabin and cockpit. Returned to pdx and made precautionary landing. Engine inspection revealed bird feathers in #1 engine core, possible bird hit #2 engine cowling. Flight was cancelled for inspection (borascope). Tower reported 3 dead sea gulls found on runway.
