Narrative:
It was brought to my attention today of an issue with de-icing on the gates and near ramp equipment. Team leader of gate xx explained to me that the de-icing fluid is making the belt loaders slippery to work on and making this a safety hazard. I went out to the gate myself to see for myself and did in fact had a difficult time getting any type of grip on the belt loader whether it was the belt itself or the black grip strip that is on the side next to the railing.
