Narrative:
Maintenance allegedly fixed an item that was written in our aircraft logbook. They signed it off and we then flew the aircraft for 4 legs (takeoff/lndgs). On the last leg we discovered that the 'fixed' item was again malfunctioning. We wrote it up again only to later find out that they never repaired the item. They said they did...but they lied. This aircraft was an large transport. Engineers at tulsa authority/authorized it to fly with this 'no go' item broken from srq to dfw. Maintenance performed the wrong check on the landing gear warning system and then signed it off the maintenance item as fixed. When the item showed it was not fixed (4 legs later), then tulsa engineers grounded the aircraft. We were lied to and therefore flew this aircraft in violation of FARS and in violation of our own MEL. Recommend company mechanics be checked for their legality.

Title: FLT CREW OF LGT TYPE ACFT NOTED A MAINTENANCE ITEM WRITTEN OFF AS REPAIRED. ACFT HAD BEEN FLOWN SEVERAL DAYS WITH THE ITEM INOPERATIVE.
Narrative: MAINT ALLEGEDLY FIXED AN ITEM THAT WAS WRITTEN IN OUR ACFT LOGBOOK. THEY SIGNED IT OFF AND WE THEN FLEW THE ACFT FOR 4 LEGS (TKOF/LNDGS). ON THE LAST LEG WE DISCOVERED THAT THE 'FIXED' ITEM WAS AGAIN MALFUNCTIONING. WE WROTE IT UP AGAIN ONLY TO LATER FIND OUT THAT THEY NEVER REPAIRED THE ITEM. THEY SAID THEY DID...BUT THEY LIED. THIS ACFT WAS AN LGT. ENGINEERS AT TULSA AUTH IT TO FLY WITH THIS 'NO GO' ITEM BROKEN FROM SRQ TO DFW. MAINT PERFORMED THE WRONG CHK ON THE LNDG GEAR WARNING SYS AND THEN SIGNED IT OFF THE MAINT ITEM AS FIXED. WHEN THE ITEM SHOWED IT WAS NOT FIXED (4 LEGS LATER), THEN TULSA ENGINEERS GNDED THE ACFT. WE WERE LIED TO AND THEREFORE FLEW THIS ACFT IN VIOLATION OF FARS AND IN VIOLATION OF OUR OWN MEL. RECOMMEND COMPANY MECHS BE CHKED FOR THEIR LEGALITY.
