Narrative:
Flight was returning to gate at the request of msp company maintenance control. Since aircraft had been prepared for takeoff, the after landing check was called for and executed. I advised the captain that we would be using external power once we arrived at the gate. As the aircraft came to a stop at the gate, the captain called for the seat belt sign to be turned off. I did so. I then directed my attention to the external power 'avail' light/switch to wait for it to illuminate. At that instant, all power to the aircraft busses had been interrupted and all cri's had gone black. I then looked down at the engine master switches. #1 was off and #2 was on. I then looked back to the external power 'avail' light. It had illuminated, indicating that external power had been connected to the aircraft. I selected external power and thus restored power to the aircraft. The captain said when he shut down engine #1 that both engines had been shut down. He then entered this event into the aircraft maintenance log book.

Title: FLT CREW SHUT DOWN LEFT ENGINE AND LOST ALL POWER TO ACFT BECAUSE RIGHT ENGINE ALSO SHUT DOWN WITH SWITCH STILL ON. LOG BOOK ENTRY FOR MAINTENANCE.
