Narrative:

Sfo FMS visual 28R. ATC asked that we slow down and maintain visual with a heavy aircraft on 28L. Our aircraft and the 777 are paired up for the approach. The winds were approximately 250/10 kts; a quartering headwind. Below 1;000 feet; I started to encounter the wake vortices's from the 777. I decided to adjust my approach angle and fly a dot high to avoid these vortices's. That helped. I continued the approach relying on the VASI for guidance. To land in the touchdown zone; my descent rate felt higher than normal and may have exceeded 1;200 FPM.
