Narrative:
Normal preflight inspection accomplished and no apparent problems. Aircraft was pushed from gate to holding area due to delays. Taxi start for takeoff, aircraft had to stop en route to runway, making a right then a left turn prior to stopping. Fuel was noticed on the ground by passenger. Flight crew confirmed fuel on ground, and on conferring with maintenance by radio, it was determined that the fuel was from the right wing vent box due to the high fuel load carried and uncoordinated turns on the ground. Remainder of taxi and takeoff normal. During en route climb, flight crew advised that fuel was coming from the right wing tip area. Maintenance was contacted and advised of situation, and that aircraft was returning. Descent, approach and landing normal.

Title: FUEL VENTING FROM WING DURING TAXI AND CLIMB.
Narrative: NORMAL PREFLT INSPECTION ACCOMPLISHED AND NO APPARENT PROBS. ACFT WAS PUSHED FROM GATE TO HOLDING AREA DUE TO DELAYS. TAXI START FOR TKOF, ACFT HAD TO STOP ENRTE TO RWY, MAKING A RIGHT THEN A LEFT TURN PRIOR TO STOPPING. FUEL WAS NOTICED ON THE GND BY PAX. FLT CREW CONFIRMED FUEL ON GND, AND ON CONFERRING WITH MAINT BY RADIO, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE FUEL WAS FROM THE RIGHT WING VENT BOX DUE TO THE HIGH FUEL LOAD CARRIED AND UNCOORDINATED TURNS ON THE GND. REMAINDER OF TAXI AND TKOF NORMAL. DURING ENRTE CLB, FLT CREW ADVISED THAT FUEL WAS COMING FROM THE RIGHT WING TIP AREA. MAINT WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED OF SITUATION, AND THAT ACFT WAS RETURNING. DSNT, APCH AND LNDG NORMAL.
