Narrative:
While en route from rasvo to onoko we were given a descent and told to maintain 2000 FPM. ATC called [another aircraft] to turn right 10 degrees; shortly thereafter ATC told [that aircraft] to turn further 20 degrees right. We went through wake turbulence from another jet and someone else stated 'that was close' over the radio. We never received a TCAS alert. We then asked ATC if they were calling [us] and the controller said yes. We complied with the directions to turn right 20 degrees. The main issue was the controller stated [the wrong flight number] twice and led to the confusion.
