Narrative:
In the process of towing gliders; there was a 1;000 ft. Release and I focused on getting clear from the glider and returning to the field and didn't get the tow rope reeled in. In approach to landing; a power line was struck by the rope. The rope and line broke. No one was injured. Plane was ok. Just damage to the rope and power line. Last year we switched from a rope drag to a reel and we haven't done that many of the reel tows prior to this year.
