Narrative:
IFR flight plan from bna to pdk. It was sunday afternoon and the WX was improving. All the local VFR traffic came out. Traffic was pointed out to me on final which I confirmed. Only I had the wrong traffic, there were two on final. The second one was too close for me to land, I extended my left base leg, only to see an small aircraft on a right base, heading directly for us. I took evasive action to my left which resulted in near miss. Keep patterns standard at pdk.
