Narrative:
We were on approach to ZZZ. Just outside the final approach fix we selected the gear down and we got no response from the gear system or the power brake system. We broke the approach off and asked for vectors to run a checklist. We ran the emergency gear extension checklist and got a 3 green and no red indication. After that we also had a low brake press light on so we ran that checklist. After all checklists were completed we advised ATC of our situation. They gave us vectors for the RNAV and we landed with no gear issues. We did have to use the emergency brake system after landing; we cleared the runway; advised ATC we were shutting down the engines on the taxiway so we could talk to the emergency responders. The sic (second in command) got out and chocked both main gears while I held the emergency brakes. One of the fire trucks remained with us on the taxiway until the FBO came to tow us to the ramp.
