Narrative:
We were operating as a ferry flight from unv to pit. En route we were called by company and told to divert to johnstown (jst) to operate a scheduled flight from jst to pit. We did the ILS 33 and landed straight in. A wind check on short final said the wind was about 280 at 15. The braking action was poor on both the runway and txwys. We exited the runway and as we turned onto the parallel taxiway a gust of wind from the right rear quarter caused the aircraft to begin sliding sideways. Subsequent application of differential power had little effect and the left main gear slid approximately 1-1 1/2' off the taxiway. After removing the snow ahead of the wheels and placing boards down we were able to taxi the aircraft out. No damage to the aircraft or property resulted. I do not feel anything could have been done to prevent this. Part of the reason we slid sideways, I feel was due to the fact the aircraft was very light. We were empty with about 1500 pounds of fuel on board so we only weighed 11500 pounds.

Title: AN LTT ACR ON A NIGHT OPERATION SLIDES OFF THE TXWY DURING TAXI IN.
Narrative: WE WERE OPERATING AS A FERRY FLT FROM UNV TO PIT. ENRTE WE WERE CALLED BY COMPANY AND TOLD TO DIVERT TO JOHNSTOWN (JST) TO OPERATE A SCHEDULED FLT FROM JST TO PIT. WE EXITED THE RWY AND AS WE TURNED ONTO THE PARALLEL TXWY A GUST OF WIND FROM THE R REAR QUARTER CAUSED THE ACFT TO BEGIN SLIDING SIDEWAYS. SUBSEQUENT APPLICATION OF DIFFERENTIAL PWR HAD LITTLE EFFECT AND THE L MAIN GEAR SLID APPROX 1-1 1/2' OFF THE TXWY. AFTER REMOVING THE SNOW AHEAD OF THE WHEELS AND PLACING BOARDS DOWN WE WERE ABLE TO TAXI THE ACFT OUT. NO DAMAGE TO THE ACFT OR PROPERTY RESULTED.
