Narrative:
I was on my second x-country from lwm to ore. I went beyond ore. I turned in lwm VOR and signal was unusable. I tried gardner VOR and that was unusable. I then saw an airport I thought was gardner. I used unicom for gardner and approached runway. When I landed I realized I was at westover and I did not want to do a touch and go. I parked and spoke with westover personnel. Supplemental information from acn 168358: I had the student come back to lwm with flight following out of bdl approach. He landed safely at lwm with the help of bos approach and the lwm tower personnel.
