Narrative:
I flew from upstate ny at 8500' MSL down to the ny TCA, which I overflew at 8500' MSL. I then flew to the southwest edge of that TCA and started a slow descent over the city of new brunswick, nj. I then made a large curve (descending) to the left and entered under the TCA at 1500' or less to go to linden airport, at which the floor of the TCA is 800' MSL. I was under the 800' level in that area. I then was told to call the FAA supervisor at ewr, who told me that another aircraft with a TCAS or tcad pilot reported that I was in the TCA. I might have descended too rapidly from 8500'. On 2/sun/91, I had my mode C checked by ny approach over asbury park, and they told me that I showed 2070' when my altimeter showed 2500'.
