Narrative:
On climbout; past 15;000 feet; number 2 engine lost oil quantity rapidly from 21 to 5; then slowly to zero. After complying with the QRH (quick reference handbook); we consulted with dispatcher and maintenance control; electing to continue engine operation; but when engine oil pressure started to fluctuate and then dropped from 60 to 28; the engine was shut down for a return to ZZZ. Fire/crash/rescue scanned the aircraft on the taxiway after an uneventful monitored; coupled approach to an auto land.
