Narrative:
Just prior to top of descent at fl 330 we experienced wake turbulence for 3-4 seconds. We went from smooth to light-mod turbulence according the ipad app. Seat belt sign was on. Flight attendants check-in PA was made and no injuries were reported. An aircraft was observed on TCAS 1;000 ft. Above us perpendicular to our course. ATC was advised.

Title: B737NG flight crew reported encountering wake turbulence at FL330 in RJJJ airspace.
Narrative: Just prior to top of descent at FL 330 we experienced wake turbulence for 3-4 seconds. We went from smooth to light-mod turbulence according the iPad app. Seat belt sign was on.
