Narrative:

1800' AGL I called for the landing gear down and final checklist. Gear indication was three green however there was no gear door light open indication during extension. Pulled the emergency gear extension lever to allow the doors to float in airstream just in case they were down. Pressing to test the light was unsuccessful. Upon landing I taxied clear of runway and caused skin damage to right main door. I should have executed a missed approach. I found the gear door light socket was bad.
