Narrative:

Landing in mia exceeded crosswind limits. Held inbound to mia due to single runway operation. Aircraft were making successful lndgs on runway 12 in mia in spite of high winds. We left holding with enough fuel to make 1 attempt at mia and then proceed to rsw as an alternate. Rsw at that point was acceptable. After being forced to make a go around at mia due to an aircraft on the runway. We decided to divert to rsw because of reported gusts to 38R 70 degrees off of runway heading. Partway to rsw we discovered a trw was now over the field and winds were out of limits. Fll, pbi and tpa were checked all with winds out of limits. Mco was ok, but holding was in progress and we didn't have sufficient fuel to hold once arriving at mco. The best conditions and closest airport was mia and thus we turned back to try it again. On the way I was offered homestead AFB. This was more aligned into the winds. I decided to make one approach at mia and then proceed to homestead if necessary. When cleared to land at mia and once again just inside the FAF I was given winds within legal limits. Just prior to T/D (200' AGL) I overhead another wind callout 190 degrees 25g36, which would put us out of limits. At this point I was well aligned and proceeded to make a normal crosswind flare and landing. No other problems were encountered.

NO OTHER PROBS WERE ENCOUNTERED.
