Narrative:

We departed agc airport after having done a thorough preflight. The flight was an IFR x-country conducted in VMC conditions, used for IFR training. The entire trip was deemed safe, according to far 91. Upon descent to ilg, I (cfii) turned on the landing light to see it come on and burn out. I deemed it same to land at ilg west/O the light since we were landing runway 8,which is 7165' X 150' and lit. Upon taxi-back, we had no light and the taxiway lights were inoperative on some portions of the taxi back to the ramp. To the best of our knowledge, we stayed on the yellow line and proceeded to park the aircraft. The pilot, who is a 1/3 owner in the aircraft, tied the aircraft and noticed damage to 1 blade of the propeller, several inches from the tip. We both were puzzled and agree that foreign object or objects must have been brought into the path of the propeller to cause the damage. There appears to be blue glass imbedded in the propeller. It is possible that we picked up debris, maybe from the area on the ramp where construction of a new hangar is being conducted. The damage resulted in nothing more than having to replace 1 blade of the propeller on the aircraft.

Title: INSTRUCTOR ON INSTRUMENT TRAINING FLT HAS LNDG LIGHT EXPIRE. ON TAXI, PROPELLER HIT TXWY LIGHT.

Narrative: WE DEPARTED AGC ARPT AFTER HAVING DONE A THOROUGH PREFLT. THE FLT WAS AN IFR X-COUNTRY CONDUCTED IN VMC CONDITIONS, USED FOR IFR TRNING. THE ENTIRE TRIP WAS DEEMED SAFE, ACCORDING TO FAR 91. UPON DSNT TO ILG, I (CFII) TURNED ON THE LNDG LIGHT TO SEE IT COME ON AND BURN OUT. I DEEMED IT SAME TO LAND AT ILG W/O THE LIGHT SINCE WE WERE LNDG RWY 8,WHICH IS 7165' X 150' AND LIT. UPON TAXI-BACK, WE HAD NO LIGHT AND THE TXWY LIGHTS WERE INOP ON SOME PORTIONS OF THE TAXI BACK TO THE RAMP. TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE, WE STAYED ON THE YELLOW LINE AND PROCEEDED TO PARK THE ACFT. THE PLT, WHO IS A 1/3 OWNER IN THE ACFT, TIED THE ACFT AND NOTICED DAMAGE TO 1 BLADE OF THE PROP, SEVERAL INCHES FROM THE TIP. WE BOTH WERE PUZZLED AND AGREE THAT FOREIGN OBJECT OR OBJECTS MUST HAVE BEEN BROUGHT INTO THE PATH OF THE PROP TO CAUSE THE DAMAGE. THERE APPEARS TO BE BLUE GLASS IMBEDDED IN THE PROP. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT WE PICKED UP DEBRIS, MAYBE FROM THE AREA ON THE RAMP WHERE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HANGAR IS BEING CONDUCTED. THE DAMAGE RESULTED IN NOTHING MORE THAN HAVING TO REPLACE 1 BLADE OF THE PROP ON THE ACFT.
