Narrative:
While being vectored for an approach at mia, landing to the west and approaching from the west with numerous thunderstorm cells int he vicinity, we as a whole crew thought we were cleared to fly the ILS to 27L, but were told by approach when established on the 27L localizer that we were cleared for the ILS 27R. Due to excessive WX avoidance deviations, we misinterpreted the controller's instructions. On a 5 mi final, we were told we were on the wrong ILS course and should move over to the ILS 27R. At that time we were VMC and sidestepped to the 27R ILS visually. Accomplished an uneventful landing and taxied to the gate. The WX and excessive deviations from the WX and the controller landing aircraft on both runways led to the situation. Controller's vectors were as depicted below.

Narrative: WHILE BEING VECTORED FOR AN APCH AT MIA, LNDG TO THE W AND APCHING FROM THE W WITH NUMEROUS TSTM CELLS INT HE VICINITY, WE AS A WHOLE CREW THOUGHT WE WERE CLRED TO FLY THE ILS TO 27L, BUT WERE TOLD BY APCH WHEN ESTABLISHED ON THE 27L LOC THAT WE WERE CLRED FOR THE ILS 27R. DUE TO EXCESSIVE WX AVOIDANCE DEVIATIONS, WE MISINTERPRETED THE CTLR'S INSTRUCTIONS. ON A 5 MI FINAL, WE WERE TOLD WE WERE ON THE WRONG ILS COURSE AND SHOULD MOVE OVER TO THE ILS 27R. AT THAT TIME WE WERE VMC AND SIDESTEPPED TO THE 27R ILS VISUALLY. ACCOMPLISHED AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG AND TAXIED TO THE GATE. THE WX AND EXCESSIVE DEVIATIONS FROM THE WX AND THE CTLR LNDG ACFT ON BOTH RWYS LED TO THE SITUATION. CTLR'S VECTORS WERE AS DEPICTED BELOW.
