Narrative:

After normal engine start, the captain taxied under maintenance supervision with 1 mechanic, no wing walkers. As we started taxi and right turn out, the mechanic moved out of my view to the left wing tip. The area to the right of aircraft was clear, but both the captain and I were aware of tight clearance on the left. After moving slowly forward and right, the left wing tip collided with the jetway. We shut down and investigated. The jetway was not moved further away from the aircraft because a fuel truck was parked against a bldg limiting the jetway movement. A pushback tug would have prevented this incident.
