Narrative:
In turbulence and approaching towering circuit breaker, aircraft increased altitude by 500'. While descending to proper altitude, center advised I must hold 9000'. This was impossible unless I overstressed the aircraft. Controller was critical of other who wished to contact flight watch. He would not allow them to do so.
