Narrative:
Aircraft dispatcher received message via HF and planeline. Message that the captain had requested a route other than what had been filed with ATC. When the dispatcher checked new route to see if it had been analyzed for depressurization/emergency diversion the dispatcher found it was not. The dispatcher had the flight selcaled to let the crew know and to instruct them not to go on that arwy and also to call dispatch upon arrival in mia. An acknowledgement was received . The captain call as instructed and questioned why he was not to fly that route. Dispatch once again informed him about the emergency diversion rtings. The captain said he was flown that arwy in an large transport and did not understand why he could not in a widebody transport dispatch informed him that the two aircraft were different in some respects that liquid affect the requirements needed for the emergency rtes. Dispatch also informed the captain that this was the reason we would not accept rertes over the south american continent. The captain informed dispatch that he was unaware of this and request more information. In conclusion, it would seem more training and that flight crews and dispatchers should be put into the same classes.

Title: ACR WDB CAPT REQUESTED AN UNAUTH REROUTE AND COMPANY DISPATCH ADVISED THE FLT CREW THAT THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE MADE THE REQUESTED CHANGE.
Narrative: ACFT DISPATCHER RECEIVED MESSAGE VIA HF AND PLANELINE. MESSAGE THAT THE CAPT HAD REQUESTED A RTE OTHER THAN WHAT HAD BEEN FILED WITH ATC. WHEN THE DISPATCHER CHKED NEW RTE TO SEE IF IT HAD BEEN ANALYZED FOR DEPRESSURIZATION/EMER DIVERSION THE DISPATCHER FOUND IT WAS NOT. THE DISPATCHER HAD THE FLT SELCALED TO LET THE CREW KNOW AND TO INSTRUCT THEM NOT TO GO ON THAT ARWY AND ALSO TO CALL DISPATCH UPON ARR IN MIA. AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT WAS RECEIVED . THE CAPT CALL AS INSTRUCTED AND QUESTIONED WHY HE WAS NOT TO FLY THAT RTE. DISPATCH ONCE AGAIN INFORMED HIM ABOUT THE EMER DIVERSION RTINGS. THE CAPT SAID HE WAS FLOWN THAT ARWY IN AN LGT AND DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HE COULD NOT IN A WDB DISPATCH INFORMED HIM THAT THE TWO ACFT WERE DIFFERENT IN SOME RESPECTS THAT LIQUID AFFECT THE REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR THE EMER RTES. DISPATCH ALSO INFORMED THE CAPT THAT THIS WAS THE REASON WE WOULD NOT ACCEPT RERTES OVER THE SOUTH AMERICAN CONTINENT. THE CAPT INFORMED DISPATCH THAT HE WAS UNAWARE OF THIS AND REQUEST MORE INFO. IN CONCLUSION, IT WOULD SEEM MORE TRNING AND THAT FLT CREWS AND DISPATCHERS SHOULD BE PUT INTO THE SAME CLASSES.
