Narrative:

En route 11000 IFR sbn to jax the small aircraft began to surge. Performed emergency checklist and engines (both) about failed in high boost, moved to low boost and began to run with surging. Requested landing at near by airport. ATC informed me indy was 200 and 2 mi suggested mt comfort ILS...while on ILS flight director commands indicated turn indicated right turn but HSI raw data indicated on course. Hand flew ran data to DH. Did not have airport in sight...so I began missed approach, applied partial power, retracted gear. Airport came into sight. Applied full flaps...reduced power and landed in touchdown zone west/O gear! This situation occurred because I decided to make missed approach and then changed mind. I did not double check myself...gump.
