Narrative:
Upon departure from rdu, unsafe gear door light illuminated and departure informed us that rdu tower spotted debris on runway. We determined we had a blown tire and returned to rdu after dumping fuel. Uneventful landing and rollout. Passenger deplaned via portable stairs. No further incident.

Title: TWR CTLR REPORTED DEBRIS ON RWY AFTER DEP OF LGT. FLT CREW HAD UNSAFE GEAR DOOR LIGHT AND DETERMINED THEY HAD BLOWN A TIRE. DUMPED FUEL TO LNDG WEIGHT. RETURNED AND LANDED RDU.
Narrative: UPON DEP FROM RDU, UNSAFE GEAR DOOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND DEP INFORMED US THAT RDU TWR SPOTTED DEBRIS ON RWY. WE DETERMINED WE HAD A BLOWN TIRE AND RETURNED TO RDU AFTER DUMPING FUEL. UNEVENTFUL LNDG AND ROLLOUT. PAX DEPLANED VIA PORTABLE STAIRS. NO FURTHER INCIDENT.
